Chevrolet Repair: spark plug wires, firing order, plug wires

My boyfriend has a 1991 Chevy S10 pick-up truck and is trying to change the spark plug wires.  He just changed it and now it's make popping noises.  What is it that he did wrong or how can he fix it?

Hi Apelila, Sounds to me like he put the wires on the wrong spark plugs. You need to put these on in the same order on  the dist cap and spark plugs. Could be he just has 2 of them mixed up. The firing order is 165432 going clockwise on the dist cap.
