Chevrolet Repair: Astro van window lift support, chevy astro van, chevy astro

Question
We have a 1997 Chevy Astro van, not a 4WD.  The lift supports that hold up the back window are not supporting the window.  Are those easy to replace?

They sure are easy to replace. You can buy them at most auto parts stores for about $20.00 EACH. You will need to know if the back window has the defroster lines running across the window as in some vehicle the supports are DIFFERENT for WITH or WITHOUT rear defroster.

If you have your wife take the vehicle in to the parts store and she SMILES NICELY, They may even install them for FREE. Takes about 5 minutes or less.
