Chevrolet Repair: Overheating!!, combustion chambers, chevy camaro

Question
My 1994 Chevy Camaro v6 3.4l is overheating. When I drive  it my "check engine light" comes on from time to time. I have just replaced the thermostat, water pump, and freeze plugs. Someone told me it could be a "head" problem...really bad news. Someone also mentioned something about an EGR valve problem. I just needed some added expertise. Thanks.

Answer
EGR is HIGHLY doubtful. Incorrect Engine static timing can cause over heating. Head gasket(s) failure between the cooling chambers and the combustion chambers is also highly possible. Radiator restrictions in the middle and lower portions of the radiator are HIGHLY LIKELY.

The FIRST thing I would do is TEST for head gasket(s) problems and if none found, I would install a BRAND NEW raditaior and throw your old one OUT.

I have NO FAITH nor do I recommend CLEANING, FLUSHING and or REBUILDING your old radiator nor do I EVER recommend any MIRACLE flushing compounds.
