Chevrolet Repair: transfer case, vacuum leak, transfer case

Question
when I put my 92 s-10 blazer (electronic push button) into 4-wheel drive I'll be driving along and my transfer case will act like its going into neutral I switch off 4wheel then go back on and its good for awhile. Is there an adjustment or does the vacum solenoid need replaced

Hello Mark,
If you have the vacuum shift front axle, it may be due to a vacuum leak, but I wouldn't just assume the solenoid was the problem. It is possibly the actuator, but there are several things to check, including the transfer case itself.
