Chevrolet Repair: 1996 Suburban, spark plug wires, bump in the road

Question
My 96 Chevy Sububan has had
Catyalitic converters replaced
Intake manafold gaskets replaced
Injectors upgraded
spark plug wires replaced

It has a querk, that is like, having water in the gas.
It jerks about every 4 seconds, it is hard to tell from a bump in the road.
The( service engine soon) light comes on every once in a while, but is not shown on the computer read out.
The only time it does not do it, is in throttle back

Answer
Every time the check engine light illuminates a code is stored.

What mechanical work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made.

The cause can be any number of things and to try and tell you EXACTLY which one is causing your problem is impossible unless I had the vehicle to drive and FEEL this problem personally.

I know you are looking for an EXACT part to change, But it's just not possible, All I would be doing is GUESSING and I am a LOUSY guesser.
