I have no spark we have replaced all pugs and wires, rotor and cap coil pick up coil and still have no spark . napa says it could be a spark control modual help!
Answer -
Hi Melodie,
It is possible that it COULD be a module, but you didn't say what year, make, engine, etc.
If you have a pickup coil, I think you have HEI, so probably no module.
Make sure there is power on the red or pink wire to the cap.
Fuse maybe?
Maybe even ignition switch.
Let me know what year, engine, etc.

Answer
Hello Melodie,
I doubt it is the ECM, which controls electronic spark timing, but shouldn't prevent spark.
You can actually disconnect the four wire connector from the distributor and check for spark, but if you have spark then and not with it connected, it is supposed to indicate a bad pickup coil, and you said you already replaced that.
The first thing to check is the pink wire to the coil. That is battery voltage from the ignition switch. Check it with the switch in run, but also check it while cranking, in case the ignition switch is bad. There needs to be power at the pink wire.
If not, check ign fuse, or ign switch, or wire connectors.
I assume you checked to see if the rotor is turning.
While looking in there, see if the pole piece is still magnetized. Needs to be.
Assuming all that checks out, yes, it could be the module.
And a 93 would have a module, and not HEI, which has the coil inside the distributor cap.
Some parts houses have a tester they can plug the module into to test it.
A mitchell manual has a step by step test proceedure under ignition system check. You can make a copy of the page at the public library, in the refference section. They have all the books.
Good luck,
Van
