Chevrolet Repair: 1997 chevy malibu v6 3.1 engine, chevy malibu, wheel bearings

Question
Every time I turn the wheel right or left, I hear a severe creaking sound. The rack and pinion have been inspected, the struts, wheel bearings, tie rod ends and brakes have all been changed. Also, there is the proper amount of power steering fluid and an alignment has been done. I am thinking ball joints or some type of lubrication. Thanx.

Answer
Could be ball joints, then again the coil springs to the struts could be rubbing, against the frame. What I would do first is have a friend crawl underneath it and you turn the steering wheel. You could pinpoint the problem this way. Otherwise if you had recent work done on it then I would bring it back to your mechanic.. Ty
