Chevrolet Repair: wipers, torx screws, ls 4

I have a 1994 Chevrolet S-10 LS 4 cylinder pick-up with 235,500 miles. Sometimes the wipers work and sometimes nothing happens when you turn them on. Problem? Solution? Thanks

Hello Marc,
There is a control board in the square housing of the wiper motor, where the wire connection is.
The commonly recommended fix is to replace the board, but the replacement will eventually have the same problem, which is cold solder joints, which you can repair.
You should look at them under a magnifying glass.
