Chevrolet Repair: Transmission fluid, dip stick, trans fluid

I want to check the trans fluid but can'y find the dip stick. I found the plug to fill it ...I guess..but no dip stick.

Hello David, You forgot to tell me what kind of car you have..oops.

I am going to assume that it is a Malibu or Cavalier. There isn't a dip stick so you can relax now. There is a plug at the right drive axle that you remove to check to fluid level. If there are no leaks you don't ever have to check it. To check you run the engine in park and remove the plug, if fluid comes out your good. It not you add until it does, simple right. They just keep getting harder and harder to work on.
