Chevrolet Repair: 1995 Tahoe Anti Lock Brake Light, speed sensors, wheel speed

I have a 1995 4WD 2DR Tahoe with the 5.7 engine and 183,236 miles on it.  The Anti-Lock Brake light remains on after the car is running and the ABS does not work when the front wheels lock up.  None of the brake lights are burned out and there is plenty of fluid in the master cylinder.  What else could it be other than the ABS pump assembly?  

If it is the ABS pump assembly that has gone bad, will one from a 1999 Cadillac Escalade 5.7 fit the same
(vin# 1GYEK13R1XR417157)?  Thanks.

Hi Kevin, I haven't seen any abs modules go bad, but I have seen alot of front wheel speed sensors go bad. You to get the code and run down the dia chart. I'm thinking you can get this working again with out spending a lot of money. See if you can get the code and go from there.
