Chevrolet Repair: 99 chev tahoe wont shift into 2 wheel drive, chev tahoe, torque load

Question
I checked the front differential motor and transfercase motors out on another truck and they worked fine. The switch for 4 wd works and the transmission computer has been replaced. I am at a loss for what to do next any suggestions? also the transmission and transfercase were rebuilt.

Well, I wonder about the rebuilds, such as why they were needed, and if the orriginal problem was corrected, etc.
If it is because it won't shift OUT of four wheel drive, I would suggest jacking a wheel off the ground, and seeing if it will shift then.
Tires worn to different circumferences, or different sizes, could cause a torque load on the driveshafts.
