Chevrolet Repair: 1997 Chevy Malibu LS, chevy malibu, radiator hose

My father currently owns a 1997 Chevy Malibu LS and would like to know where can you drain the anti-freeze and check the tranmission oil?  Anyhting that can be done will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you...

The transmission fluid...Is this a standard tranny?
If so, there is a plug in the side of it. Not the bottom plug, which will drain it, but about four inches up the side.
Drain the antifreeze out the bottom of the radiator.
An optional place to drain it is a lower radiator hose.
Take precautions with the drained antifreeze. Don't leave it in open containers that pets and other animals can get to, because they will drink it, and it will kill them.
To avoid some of the problems associated with disposal, etc, it might just be worth the extra $ to take the car to a shop and have it done.
