Dear Van, It's Lou again 95 chevy lumina van, here is where we are now. we found that # 1 3 5 injectors were not fireing,the noid light showed that they were,but when we put a steth scope on the injectors they were not fireing at all.we installed a new computer now the injectors fire but not smoth and uniformly the engine is running on #2 4 6 , my mechanic now says its elect problem, sometime he can here the injectors #1 3 5 clicking but not corectly.he found an improper ground wire and corrected it but no help . could the three injectors be bad or clouged with something,and what are the chances of three injectors to go bad all at once, also what if the engine was not servised properly at 100,000 or at 150,000 miles could that have any input on this . You could swap #'s 1,3,&5 with 2,4,&6, and see if the problem follows the injectors, or if it stays with cylinders 1,3,&5.
I assume you have measured resistance through the injectors with an ohm meter, and found all six close to the same?
If one of them is shorted, and damaged the old computer, it would also damage the replacement computer.
