Chevrolet Repair: Hesitating, chevy blazer, 1998 chevy blazer

My 1998 Chevy Blazer has begun hesitating while I am driving. There is also a constant clicking sound (sounds like the blinker is on, but it's not) coming from the passenger side of the dashboard.  What could be wrong?

Sorry this answer is so late...I signed out on vacation, but the site doesn't seem to update all the areas I am in, even though it says it will.
The clicking MAY be something normal, like the A/C pressure switch opening and closing. But it could also be something like a circuit breaker opening, and resetting, which would indicate a short in some system, which could be totally unrelated to the hesitation.
But if it is something in the vacuum system, it could easily effect engine operation.
I am hoping you have already tracked down your problem, and fixed it, but if not, get back in touch, and I will help if I can.
