Chevrolet Repair: 96 blazer 4.3 4x4, chevy blazer, full tank

hi.  I have a 1996 Chevy blazer that wont run right if it starts at all.  She ran out of gas on me but i only put on 150 miles on a full tank. i put gas in and it started but when i put any load on the engine it would just die out.  Figured it could be the map sensor so i replaced it.  Didnt solve the problem but it got the engine light to turn off...anyway it still doesnt start.  i have spark, i have fuel pressure,  she turns over.  i even chesked the fuel filter for debris considering i ran it out of gas. im at my wits end.  any ideas?

Sorry this answer is so late...I signed out on vacation, but the site doesn't seem to update all the areas I am in, even though it says it will.
I assume you checked for spark??
And as for pressure, does it have a good 14 PSI? it needs every bit of 14.
