I have a '89 chevy beretta GTU.  My heat stopped working the other night.  I know how to do brakes, mufflers and change my oil....simple shit like that.  So, I have NO heat.  I changed the heater core in the car last summer.  I changed my thermostat just yesterday.  The anti-freeze is full and there are no leaks, but no heat....any ideas?, Rich

hmm you might need to change out the heater plate. its located on top if you got one. hmm. i would consult a manual and see if your car has one. it should and it fairly easy to change. if you can do brakes then you cna do this.
What is the "heater plate" and where is it located in the system.
P.S.  Might the heater core be plugged?

keep me posted

Answer
i would check with the heater core first and for clogged lines. also flush the system and check fuses. then go get a manual for auto parts store nad lok for heating and cooling section. they have detailed pictures and step on what you need to look for. way better than i can do here.
