Chevrolet Repair: 94 Suburban Idle problem, torque converter clutch, rotor coil

Question
I have a 94 Suburban with the 5.7L V8, AT.  The block is less than a year old.  Fuel pump, EGR, IAC, Cap, rotor, coil, injectors, MAP and Ignition control module are all less than a year old.  The truck starts great, operates great, idles in N or P great but dies when idling in gear.  I cannot figure this out.

Thanks.

Answer
does your vehicle have a tcc seloind? i bet it does. a tcc thingy, is a switch which tells the automatic car what gear it in. go back to the good old days and a clutch, what happens when you try to start off in 2 or 3? it stalls. duh, same prob with the auto matic. it thinks it in third when its in first and bam,.. stalls when put in gear. i had the same issue. here is the name of it so you can find it and see how much one is for your vehicle..

Torque Converter Clutch - TCC solenoid
