Chevrolet Repair: fuel injectors, customer assistance center, maintenance reminders

Question
I have a 1999 Chevy Astro.  I had to replace the CSFI with the MFI fuel injector.  My mechanic told me that chevy  extended the warranty to 200,000 miles on this part.  When I called chevy they told me that my van was manufactured in Florida not California so I would not be reimbursed for the cost of the repair.  I have 100,000 miles on my van now.  Do you have any info on this problem or the reimbursement issue? Thanks so much!  The repair for this cost me $668.69
