Chevrolet Repair: chevy lumina 1996 Anti-Lock Warning, chevy lumina, chevrolet lumina

Hi, Brian.
A few weeks back I bought a Chevrolet Lumina 1996
Mini-Van. The car is in excellent condition, both
exterior and Interior. Now that I need to get it
inspected, there's this 'Anti-Lock' warning on
display after the vehicle has been running for a
while. I've had visited a few service/repair sta-
tions, and so far all I get is a variety of answe-
rs and not a solid respond. Thank you.
Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

you sure its a warning??? not just telling you the that antilock brakes are on and working?? on my cavalier i got an abs light the goes on and let me know my brakes are working. but if it is truly a warning light, could be many things, first check fuses, next make sure that its not a short in the system, do your brakes work ? they function? is there sufficent fluid in the resivoir? check all these things and if none of the above helps let me know, i will research it some for you.
