Chevrolet Repair: 1995 Chev. Tahoe Rough Idle, chev tahoe, z 71

Question
My vehicle is a '95 Chev. Tahoe 2-dr.  It has the Z-71 package (LS, 4x4 model).  The engine seems to idle rough at times.  I have had it to a mechanic and they said it checks out okay.  I have replaced the wires, plugs.  The mech. cleaned the injectors.  When the veh. is in park it idles fine, when it's in gear I notice it.  It never dies, just goes to a rough idle.  It doesn't do it when it's cold, just after it's warmed up.  It's more of an annoyance than anything.  Like when I'm in traffic and have to come to an abrupt stop, It usually gets worse.  The vehicle has 124K miles.  It has had an EGR valve replaced.  Could you please provide your thoughts!

Thank you,
Scott Brush

Answer
Hi Scott, I use a tool at work that runs the engine on injector cleaner. It connects to the fuel rail and you shut off the fuel pump. This is the only way you can clean them. It they didn't do it this way then you need to find a place that does. If this doesn't fix your problem then you need to replace the injectors.
