Chevrolet Repair: I am doing the head gaket..., feul, preasure

I am doing the head gaket on the 97 chey cavlier 2.2l 150,000miles
You were saying it might be a good idea to change the vavle seal.
I have a kit from autozone and it has 8 intake and exhaust vavle seal. Is this what you are talking about.
I am getting the head back tomorrow if I should change them how do I go about doing them.
The kit also contains o ring for the fuel injectors. I never relieved the fuel preasure if I change the o ring will not relieving the feul presure causing any problems.
What do they mean y top dead center.
Do I have to look at that when I put the head back on?

HI Steve, to replace the valve seals you need to remove the valve springs. You might want to ask the shop that milled the head how much more to install the seals. As for the O rings just replace the ones that go into the intake if you took them out. If you didn't take them out just leave them alone. No need to worry about top dead center, just put the head on.
