Chevrolet Repair: Coolant Leak on Passenger Side, coolant leak, engine coolant

Question
I have a 1990 Chevy 2500 4X4 with a 350 engine.  Coolant is leaking inside the cab on the passenger side right where the heater comes through the firewall (underneath the dash, right about where the passenger's feet would be).  What is the problem and what do I need to do to fix it.  I just purchased the truck about 6 months ago.  I replaced the fuel filter, coil, and plug wires about a month ago, but I haven't had a problem with the heating/cooling system until now.  The truck has about 180,000 miles.

Answer
Hi John, Your heater core is leaking, you need to replace it. Now I'm not positive but I think the dash needs to come out on the passenger side to do this job. Without looking it up in a book I can't be sure. If your going to do this job yourself, find a manual so you can follow the steps.
