QUESTION: The codes are P0300 and P1391. I understand that the car was only running on battery, altenator is not powering or charging like it is supposed to. So I was also told. All I know it went on the blink now it's dead.

Answer
ok  also haft to clear something up  the 2000  has a 2.5 engine  and an 01 has a 2.7  which is it  they are 2 complexly different engines.
As for the alternator issue  that will need to be corrected first  if its not charging the battery up  it will no allow the engine to start unless you hook it up to jumper cables for power to run the engine.
