need fix for 2010 Chrysler 300 3.5L electronic throttle control light flashing rough idle

Answer
That light means the engine controller has detected a problem with the throttle control and stored a fault code in its memory. Try turning the ignition key: on-off-on-off-on and leave on, doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the odometer window to see if the mileage is replaced by a 4-digit number preceded by a P. If so, let me know. If not then get a fault code readout for free as a nationwide auto parts store such as Autozone, or an independent garage will do it for under $40.
