Chrysler Repair: 99 Concorde: PDC fuses diagram

Question
QUESTION: new starter, alternator, crank sensor, fuel pump, spark plugs. when trying to starts it sound as if it's out of gas. it will start and run while spraying starting fluid. stops when I stop spraying. you told me it might be the BCM and to check fuses. fuse #18 needed to be replaced but that didn't work. my original key is grey with a indented Chrysler emblem in the middle. I was also using a copy key which worked also.

ANSWER: Hi Leon,
Do you hear the fuel pump run for about 2 seconds when you turn the key to the run position?
It should do that, and then stop until you turn the key to "start" when it begins to pump again but you may not be able to hear it over the starter motor noises. If you don't hear the fuel pump run for 2 seconds, then check fuse G in the  power box, and fuse 13 in the dash fuse box.
What about a vehicle theft security system light on the top of the dash? Is there such a light? I would presume not as you say that a simple copy key worked earlier. But look at the ignition switch: Is there a thick metal ring that surrounds the lock cylinder?
What about fault codes: use the ignition switch, on-off-on-off-on and leave on, doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the odometer to see the mileage reading replaced by a 4-digit number.
You told me earlier that you got a 1685 code, which says that the communication from the sentry key immobilizer module is not reporting a valid key is being used in the ignition switch. There should be an LED light on the top of the dash which tells you about the status of the SKIM system, for esample if an invalid key was being used. But you say that you have used these keys successfully previously. That light is either on the dash or is part of a sun-sensor on the top of the dash if you have automatic temp control AC system. Do you have that?
Does any of your keys have a molded rubber cap? If so then you may have a SKIM key system that is preventing the engine from running. If not, then for some reason the PCM and Body Control Module think you do have that system.
Did you change the PCM or the BCM at any time? Let me know is you still have the 1685 fault code.
Let me know and we'll go from there.

QUESTION: there is a black ring around a silver key hole. I have automatic temp control AC system. the original key is dark grey or you might call it a greyish green. the copy key work successfully also. the only fuse that was blown #18 which I replaced. Never changed the PCM or BCM. how will I know if fuse G in the power box is good or not? the last time the car ran was when I spray the the starting fluid continuously, about 4 weeks ago.

ANSWER: Hi Leon,
Do you hear the fuel pump run for a second or so when you turn the key to the run position (you haven't answered this question)? Fuse G is what powers the fuel pump and without the fuel pump the engine will not start or run. The fact that you can get it to run using starter fluid would possibly suggest that the fuel pump is indeed not running.
You can look at fuse G carefully, or better yet pull any other 40 amp fuse in the power box (except don't use fuse L for this test, but there are about 4 others you can choose from) and put it in place of fuse G. Then see it you hear the fuel pump run, and if you do try to start the engine.
Please rate my answer and nominate me, as you have done before.
Thanks,

QUESTION: In the power distribution center there is no reference to which fuse is "G" or "L". Only labeled with words. The big square black ones aren't labeled by amps. One is labeled "fuel pump relay". The two rows of small fuses are color code and labeled with amps. Green ones are 40 amps. I don't know which is "G"  or "L". I'm including images of the fuses and the inside cover of the power distribution center.

Answer
Hi Leon,
Do you hear the fuel pump run for a second or so when you turn the key to run position?
That is what I am trying to learn from you because you say you can get the engine to operate with starter fluid being sprayed into the air intake.
If you don't hear it run, then check the fuel pump relay: listen and feel for it to click when you have a helper turn the key to the 'run' position. That relay is the one at the in-board end of the box. Then it should click again when the start position of the key is tried.
I would forget about fuse G as the starter is working as that too is powered by fuse G.
