Chrysler Repair: 1991 Chrysler Anti theft system disarm

Question
I am at the end of my rope and am unable to find the answer many are asking....          How can I disconnect the Anti Theft Alarm System and operate it as any other vehicle operates without the system.
I have disconnected the 21 pin connection while the car is running and when turning the car off, then trying to start, it would not start again. Reconnected and it starts after reseting. The system is inconsistent and unreliable. I'm not stealing it, it was my dad's (he's passed), I just want to sell it but know a buyer isn't gonna want to deal with it.
Simple....can I disconnect the Anti Theft Alarm System and operate it as any other vehicle operates without the system.
If it's possible without taking to a shop and spending bucks and doing myself...please explain how.
Thanks in advance
Phil

Answer
Hi Phil,
If you disconnect the 21-pin natural color plug from behind the glove box while the engine is running then indeed that should disable that system without locking up the start function. Did you drive it a bit before turning it off, but after pulling the plug?
I don't know why it would not start again after pulling the plug with the engine running. I don't see any other reason that you were not successful. This is the first time I have heard of a failure to disarm the system. so don't have any other suggestions.
Please read the PS (below) and respond to it.
Thanks,
Roland
