Chrysler Repair: heater fan on 2003 caravan <DODGE>

Question
HEATER FAN only runs on high

Answer
Hi Merv,
I assume this is a conventional HVAC controller unit (not automatic temp control).
The symptom you describe is associated with the blower motor resistor block having gone bad. You can replace it yourself, easily. It is located behind the glove box, which you remove by gently pressing in the sides of box to release the tabs. You will see the block held in place by 2 screws and it has two wire plugs which need to be disconnected. It should work again with a new resistor block installed.
Please read the PS below and respond to it.
Thanks
Roland
