Chrysler Repair: 00 grand caravan: bcm fuses, external circuits, grand caravan

Question
QUESTION: Can you tell me honey the location of my bcm fuse?? Is it the same as iod fuse??? Ty

ANSWER: Hi Shar,
A fuse that is 'on' all the time, the IOD (#14) does power the body control module functions.
In addition fuses 19, 20, and 24 power the bcm, are also 'on' all the time, but apparently provide power to the external circuits that in turn are controlled by the bcm.

QUESTION: Ok ty I just acquired this van and am trying to program new  remotes for door locks and was instructed typo tasker out the bcm fuse   which I thought I had read somewhere was same as iod fuse...if it's not then lol I need to know where it is...

Answer
the iod fuse is in the power box in the engine compartment, in the front left corner next to the name brand speaker relay. Do you have a functional remote? If not, then the only way to program new remotes is via the use of a plug-in diagnotic readout box, probably only at a dealer or maybe a locksmith shop.
If you have a functioning remote  let me know and I can tell you how top program the new ones.
