ANSWER: Was it running b4 u replace the pump and filter.     What what or how did u figure the pump was bad

QUESTION: Yes it was running the same day it quit running. I asked my brotherinlaw at his Napa store. When I told him what the car was doing and that we replaced the fuel filter thats when he said to change the fuel pump. We also had a diagnostic computer check it too, but it wouldnt give a reading. Any more suggestions on why it wont stay running?

Yes it was running the same day it quit running.  what dos this mean      what I am asking is was the car running b4 u replaced the fuel pump?  if no  then u need to now find out if u have spark   if it was running b4 u replaced the fuel pump  U now get to go back and see what u messed up in the process.
