Chrysler Repair: 98 sebring: Park/neutral safety switch, sebring park, neutral safety switch

On the LXI, where is the neutral safety switch located.  Went thru all other possible problems and this is the last I can think of.  Not getting any crank, click or anything out of the car.  interior lights up fine all electrical works.

Hi Dave,
The park/neutral switch is on the transmission, part of a 8-pin plug. Pin 5 should have a black/yellow wire and when the trans is in park/neutral that wire should be grounded. Check that same wire at pin 1 if the starter relay to show that it is similarly grounded which it must be to actuate the starter relay.
