Chrysler Repair: 2001 PT Cruiser stall problem, sharp turn, throttle body

Question
I have a 2001 PT Cruiser LE.  Some months ago my check engine light came on.  I had it scanned and they said that it was some sort of internal code malfunction (one code was not talking correctly to another).  The car still ran fine even with the light on so I continued on due to finances to fix it at that time.  Yesterday the car started to stall when you would start to make a sharp turn.  It also started to stall when you came to a stop (RPM would start to fluctuate and then it would die).  After the stalls it would start right back up.  One other thing I just noticed is that my check engine light is no longer on.  Could this be related to the stall problem?

Answer
Without knowing what the actual code was I couldn't say if the the two are related. I'd lean more to think that you may have a throttle body issue here. I recommend you clean it out. Either by spraying throttle body cleaner into it as the engine is running or removing it and giving it a thorough cleaning.
