Chrysler Repair: 95 Concorde: heat/cooling system, automatic temperature control, chrysler concord

Question
I have a 95 Chrysler concord. The heater doesn't want to turn off.It has been wanting to run hot also.It has coolant, water in it.Please any information on this is greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi Steve,
Do you have the conventional type heater/ac control panel or is it digital with automatic temperature control? By 'doesn't want to turn off' do you mean the blower motor itself will run regardless of the speed setting, or do you mean that the temperature of the air is hot no matter where you set the temperature knob?
Are you using  antifreeze mixed in with the water? When you last drained it and refilled it did you use the bleed valve at the top middle of the engine to remove air that might be trapped in the system? That could cause a loss of control of the temperature.
How about the radiator: when you touch the manifolds on each side of the radiator do they feel equally warm or is one cold (driver side) and the other hot to touch (passenger side)?
If you will tell me answers I might be able to suggest what to do.

The control panel wont even come on.You cant set it to nothing and it is digital control.I checked the fuses radiator,ect..and its all good.

Hi Steve,
Look carefully at fuse #6 in the fuse box behind the end cap of the dash. That one specifically provides power to the digital temperature control unit.
