Answer
Hi Lakendra,
Just because the engine stopped running doesn't mean the engine was damaged. First, which size engine (L) do you have? Second did you hear any strange noise as the car was slowing down, coming from the engine compartment? How many miles do you have on the engine? Has anyone actually looked closely at the engine in any way? If not, there are fairly easy ways to size up the situation.
Here is one thing you can do to assess the situation: turn the ignition switch:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the odometer window to see the mileage reading change to show a 4-digit number preceded by a P. Tell me any such number(s) that you find to be present.
But please answer my earlier questions too.
