Chrysler Repair: 04 Sebring Sedan: power windows dont work, door hinge, power mirror

I have a 2004 Sebring Sedan and all of a sudden, all the power windows stopped working. With a test light, I can see power at the back of the master switch. Your thoughts? Thanks!

Hi Allen,
If you indeed have power on the tan wire at pin 1 of the master, and yet nothing works, then the suspect wire would be the black ground wire on pin 10 of the master that goes through the same harness pathway as the rest of the window wires, via the door hinge, and to a multiwire ground under the dash.  That wire from pin 10 goes to a splice inside the door where it joins with ground wires from the door lock motor and the power mirror, and then as a single ground wire through the hinge. So check that out, try a substitute jumper ground for pin 10 to verify that it is an issue of an 'open' ground. If it is grounded, then the master switch may be faulty. Let me know an I can tell you how to test that possibility.
