I need the name of the two wire sensor on the transmission to the right of the shifter shaft.

Hi Kathie,
That is the output speed sensor. After you lift tab on connector it will release. Unscrew, then screw in a new one to about the same torque as you would a spark plug. There is a 'weather seal' that may not come with the replacement sensor so be sure to reuse that if necessary.
