Chrysler Repair: 1990 dodge full size van, 360cui v8, rear wheel drive, ptu

very high rev on cold start up.  idles fine, stubles/surges during acceleration.  Has started dying now and low power or slow acceleration at this point.  DTC codes 13,37,41,51.  I have looked up the codes and 51 and 13 seem to be the closest to the problem.  Any ideas and where to look for sensors?  DTC 37;PTU solenoid control circuit.Is this field repairable, or will this require removal and repair of entire transmission?

Unfortunately I don't have manuals for the rear wheel drive. V8 vehicles of that vintage so don't have a decent basis of giving you any reliable help. Even the DTC codes I have may not be the same as those you show. Have you tried www.allpar.com?
