Chrysler Repair: Keyless entry on 2008 Chrysler Van, keyless remotes, picking up the signal

HI: All of a sudden both Keyless remotes almost quit working. I need to go and right to the drivers door on the car to get them to work and need to press several times. It is the same for all functions. Open, Lock, Side doors & Back hatch. Almost like it is not picking up the signal well. DO you know where the receiver is.

Hi Ross,
I only have manuals up to '06 but it may be applicable to your '08. The sentry key remote module is located in the steering column, next to the ignition key lock. You have to remove the steering column cover and the upper and lower steering column shrouds to gain access to it. Have you tried replacing the battery in your fob?
