Chrysler Repair: Water pump replacement: 3.5L, crank pulley, chrysler lhs

Question
Were is the water pump locate on a chrysler LHS 3.5 liter

Answer
Hi Steven,
It is on the front of the block, unfortunately located behind the timing belt so one has to remove the timing belt to change it out. That involves removing the radiator fan, the accessory drive belts, the crank pulley, the timing covers, the timing belt, and then replacing the water pump; then reversing the process. If the timing belt has gone around 100,000 miles since new it should replaced when you do the pump.
This is not a job for an amateur but rather for someone with some experience. There are about 10 pages in the shop manual that show hot to do it which I can copy and email to you. Just send me a follow-up question but select the 'private' option and tell me what e-mailing address to send it to. Although you tell Allexperts what your email is, I don't otherwise know what it is. Be sure to use the 'private' option.
Also, tell me the year of your LHS.
Roland
