Chrysler Repair: 08 Sebring convertible: brake lamp bulb replacement, sebring convertable, wing nuts

Question
I need to change the left side brake light on a 2008 Sebring convertable ( soft top ) It looks like the tail light needs to be removed to do this?  Any Advice?

Hi Ray,
The '04-06 manuals I have on CD don't give any details for the tail lamp assemblies.  Do the best I can give you is from the '03 hard copy manual which does show a 2 step process:
fron inside the trunk remove the main harness by sliding the red lock and pushing the release tab.
then remove the wing nuts that hold the assembly to the body
then remove the unit from the body and finally remove the bulb holder from the bulb you need to change.
I wish I could give you something more recent but it may be applicable to your vehicle. Obtaining the most recent manuals is too expensive for my volunteer particpation at Allexperts.
