Chrysler Repair: 1999 sebring v6 (miss fire), miss fire, autozone

Why the engine seems to misfire at or about 2k rpm? This only happens after the engine has warmed.  "service enginesoon"  flashed when vechicle was driven on a 190-210 mile trip. The signal was 1st on at appox 180 miles and later at 37 miles and appox 110 miles on the return trip.

Hi Charles,
Try using the ignition key:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the odometer window to see if the mileage reading is replaced by some 4-digit number which are fault codes that will tell us what might be wrong. Let me know the number and we'll go from there. If that doesn't work then get a free fault code readout at an Autozone parts store or silmilar nationwide store using a plug-in code reader.
