Chrysler Repair: Transmission swap, displacement engine, engine computer

Question
Wanting to swap a 2001 LHS trans into my 94 Concorde. The plugs are different though. Can I splice it in? - or will the second-gen TCM from the LHS work with the engine computer in the Concorde?  If I upgrade the EngComp. too, will IT work with the rest of the engine (MAP, ABS, etc.).  I can't find anything on this.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Answer
Hi Mark,
That is a difficult question to answer. I don't have the '01 manual so I don't know if its pcm/tcm is unified or still two separate units. If it has a dedicated tcm you would want to use the '01 I believe. Whether it will mate to a '94 pcm after you revised the plug wiring is unknown to me. Using '01 LHS pcm in the '94 Concorde I suspect will be tricky because the engines are not of the same 'generation' (different displacement/engine controls/etc). I believe you will improve the odds for success if get a trans from a '94-'97 LH body car with the same engine as a replacement trans than to try this 7-yr disparate swap.
