Chrysler Repair: 99 Concorde: no heat, dash 7, temp control

Question
I have an 1999 concorde. when selecting floor or or face vents
for heat it only blows out the top of the dash next to the
windshield. 2nd my heat does not work, Ive checked the blower,
and leaks from the core (OK) and the only time I feel heat is
when  I first turn heat on after the car has been running

Hi Nathaniel,
Start by checking some fuse in the box behind the left end cap on the dash: 7, 14, 16, 17, 18 , 19. Any one of those could be involved in power the control panel or the body control module. Look to be sure that the internal wire is not cracked as that is the same as a frank blow-out. If those all are fine, then write back and tell me whether you have the automatic temp control or the manual temp control type of system.
