Chrysler Repair: Sebring 07: remote door, trunk, interior lights, key fobs, fuse box

Question

Hello Roland,
Read many of your posts, hope you can help with following.

I have a Sebring Touring 2007. About a month ago while I was driving the doors locked and I heard a fading clicking sound coming from the dash. The doors and trunk no longer lock or unlock with the 2 key fobs - neither does the door or trunk open when I press the open / close door buttons on all 4 doors or the trunk button on the dashboard. ( trunk has no key entry, so I can't open the trunk at all )
A few days later the interior dome light, the left sun-visor light, the chime coming from the left and right flash turn signal stopped ( flashing lights do work ), the light around the clock and the light around the PRDLN also stopped working. I took the Sebring 2007 to a garage and they said the cluster was defective, however, they ordered a new cluster and the new one started buzzing so they didn't want to burn it and took it out and put back the old one.
Regardless to say I'm out a pretty penny for labour costs and the car still has all the above mentioned problems.
I had all the fuses checked underneath the hood ( box on driver's left hand side ) and they are all ok - none are burnt. Are there any other fuses or circuits I should be checkink ? Can you please kindly offer some advice ? I would really appreciate it.
Thank you !
Tess

Answer
Hi Tess,
There is another fuse box in the cabin of the vehicle, on what is called the 'left kick panel'. You will find that panel to the left of your left leg, under the dash. This box has 17 fuses in it and the ones that you would want to check are: 4, 5, 7, and 11. Look not only for a fuse to be blown, but also look carefully at those that aren't blown, at the wire inside the fuse to see if the wire might have a subtle crack in it.
Let me know what you find and how this works out. There are other possibilities but these fuses are the major suspects.
