Can you tell me exactly where the LDP is located on my 1999 Intrepid. I am pulling the p1495 code and everything is pointing to that part.

Hi Jeff,
The leak detection pump and evaporation cannister are located on the fuel tank, at the front left corner on the upper side of the tank. For that reason you have to drop the tank to remove it. Let me know if you need the instructions for doing that.

PS Other than a wiring issue to the LDP it is the LDP itself. Let me know your email address and I'll copy the fuel tank removal procedure that I have from a digital manual for the '04 model and the wiring for the LDP. While the site requires your email address it is not available to the 'expert'.
