Chrysler Repair: chrysler ccd bus and modules system transplant?, power door locks, eagle vision tsi

Question
I am installing a 3.5 v6 and 42LE transaxle midengined into a 1989 vanagon. the donor is a 94 eagle vision tsi. I want to pare down the wiring system of the tsi so it will run in the vanagon. My question is, I can ground 'door ajar" switches to fool the bcm, but where more data flows I am struggling with not knowing this system and what I can eliminate and get away with without disabling it.
I want to run the pcm, tcm and bcm. I dont mind having non-emission codes recurring as long as they dont put it into limp or disable the ign.
I have been studying this system for a month now, just got a factory body wiring manual and the powertrain diagnosis manual is on the way. I may get the 42le book as well.
can I break the ccd halo?  thanks roland.

Answer
Hi Todd,
That is a fairly large question. What is the 'halo'?
My main concern as far as non-fundtion is concerned would be if the donor vehicle has a vehicle theft alarm system as if you don't have all the security inputs it may alarm and prevent you from starting it for more than a couple of seconds which is the signifier for that situation. As far as I can tell the theft prevention circuitry is in the bcm so you can't disconnect it. But because you won't have a 'remote' or power door locks, or even key lock wiring you may not be able to "arm" the system which of course obviates the issue. So it may not be a problem area.
I haven't considered all the ramifications that can occur by transplanting the Chrysler powertrain and module into a 'foreign' vehicle. It will be an interesting project. How did you come to decide to do this particular engine to implant in the vanagon? Does it fit well?
Roland
PS I have '94 Chrysler LH-body service manual and the CCD bus trouble shooting manual.
Please 'rate' my answer. Thanks
