Chrysler Repair: Power Steering Pulley Installation, crank pulley, car 2000

Car: 2000 Concorde 2.7L
Problem: Removed pulley before measuring depth. How to determine how far to install pulley. When pump was matched to pulley at pump factory, they used a value, then constructed a spacer for production run. What is that value, OR what else can be done?

Hi Bob,
Take a straight, lay it across the pump pulley toward the crank pulley groove and install it such that the plane of the pulley is identical to the plane of the groove of the crank pulley and tensioner pulleys which drive the belt.
