Chrysler Repair: VM DIESEL, jeep crd, oxygen sensors

Question
I have a 2005 Jeep CRD. VM Diesel 2.8L. The vehicle has no power to pass or accelerate. Engine code is P1186
What is this? and how to fix the problem.
I have taken this to 2 Dealers and its still not fixed.

Hi Brian,
This 1186 is obscure. There are 2 possibilities: The downstream oxygen sensor on the right side heater circuit (but there are no oxygen sensors on the 2.8 diesel) or the EOT circuit (which I believe means the engine oil temp sensor circuit) but again I don't see such a sensor on that engine. Do you believe you have such a sensor?
