Chrysler Repair: 1996 chrysler new yorker fuel issue, fuel pump relay, chrysler new yorker

Question
QUESTION: I've just replaced the fuel pump and still not pumping

ANSWER: Hi Sterling,
When you turn the key to 'run' do you hear the fuel pump run for a second or so?
That is what it should do normally. It will only run continuously if either you are cranking the engine over or it is running, but in those cases it is harder to hear it.
How are you checking for whether it is running?
For the pump to work fuse A in the powerbox, fuse 18 in the box behind the dash both have to be good, and the cam and crank sensors have to be pulsing.
Have you tried for fault codes:'on-off-on-off-on and leave on' with the ignition key doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the check engine light, which remains 'on', to see it begin to flash, pause, flash, etc. Count the number of flashes before each pause. Then repeat to be sure of an accurate set of flash counts. The let me know the counts in order of appearance.

QUESTION: i check fues put new one in still not comeing on turn key and u dont here the pump comeing on

Answer
Have you checked for voltage at the pump? It should show 12v for about 1 second when you turn the key to the run position.
Does the fuel pump relay click on and then off after 1 second when a helper turns the key to the run postion?
Does it run if you jump a wire from the front pin socket to the rear pin socket of the fuel pump relay socket?
The fuel pump relay is  the one that is in the 'middle' of the box under the hood.
