Chrysler Repair: Electric seat stuck, electric seat, seat power

Question
How can i manually move my electric seat forward.
98 Sebring jxi Driver front seat. Power works in all directions except fwd and back. I Need to move seat forward and wondered if there is a way to move it temp while I get the parts to replace motor.

I don't know of any method except to remove the motor, unless it has to do with a poor connection in the control switch. The pins labelled K and L are the ones that control that motor. You should find both of those pins shorted to B in the resting position of the switch with the plug removed. Then if ask for foward K will show a short to A, while if you ask for reverse L will show a short to A. So see if all that is the case and if so then you will have to remove the motor to get it free to move by hand.
