Chrysler Repair: keyless entry failed:00 mininvan, chrysler logo, voyager 3

Question
2000 Grand Voyager 3.3.  After replacing the right door regulator, the keyless entry stopped working.  It is dealer installed, but keyfobs have Chrysler logo, only lock & unlock, no panic. Took keyfobs to Autozone, they seem to work as they trigger the test device there. All locks work manually; lock one they all lock. cabin lights ok.  Don't know if failure is coincidence or tied to regulator change.  Have 2000 service manual, but can't find any data on dealer installed RKE.  Last resort will be to install another after-market RKE receiver and use existing locks.  Any help greatly appreciated...Cajun

Answer
Hi Gary,
I don't have any info on the dealer-installed rke system. The factory unit is under the top pad of the dash and should have 12V on one of its wires at all times (a pink wire in the '98, though by '02 that wire became gray/red). Do you know where the module is located? If so, check that. The same 'ignition off' power source is used by the body computer to intermediate the system. There are two digital wires from the module to the body computer, and black/light green or gray wire to a nearby ground under the dash. If you can find the dealer unit, I would check the wires out.
I don't see any relationsship to the regulator replacement in the door.
